hello miss hoo xinyi, just want to let you know you're greatly missed in amsterdam. :D
okay so back to life. school has started & honestly, it wasnt as slack as i hoped, partly cause i have issues to settle from singapore also. confirmed list of courses, tanpp nv reply. FYP, finding profs and so far, every single one has rejected/are full at the moment. PA, the worst. missed out on shiseido's interview cause I'M HERE and i might have my chances forfeited for phase 1 and 2. sighs.
not to forget that there are projects that i have to do here, and although im not doing much, i wished that i dont have to do so much either. 2 projects like a mini fyp (!! :( ) okay thats not all, plus homework assignments and case presentations. hmmms. and i m actly taking a 75% failure rate module here. hmmsssss. maybe thats why my class only has 6 people, including me!
but anyhows, i'm back from a week-long trip a week ago from brussels-stockholm-kiruna. and i saw snow. but it was painful. MEGA PAINFUL. -40degrees, seriously. hahaha i was born in a tropical country with mega sunny and dry days more than 3/4 of a year and i was thrown in a place at -40degrees and i just keep seeing snow EVERYWHERE. i love snow, and i saw it falling but seeing a place of white for a few days makes me sick. my toes are so numb i cant feel it. my fingers hurt so bad and i think i prolly exclaimed tens of vulgarities considering how much ive curbed for the past year. now i got to restart and start repenting again.
but im still gonna go for a trip again next week, and i'm gonna pon classes. and i think my mom knows. shes some active person on facebook now. she sees EVERYTHINGGGG. but i dont mind i mean, i cant hide anything from her right. im using their money man. i gotta be transparent , let her see where all the $$ is going. and seriously it's so expensive living here my $$ is already running dry. and my hostel is PISSING ME OFF. i dont want to talk about it cause i just feel like burning the place down EVERYTIME i think about it so seriously hor, im gonna toss it at the back of my mind for awhile.
cant wait for travelling although it's mega tiringg and i always end up feeling homesick (amsterdam-homesick) and want to return back to the hostel anytime. but this time im going to poland-austria-prague-hungary. :D seems like a lot less colder as compared to the KIRUNA trip. sighs. ANDD i did see a bit of the northern lights though, just faint streaks of green across the sky. ANDDDDDDDDDDDDD the STARS seriously, made the whole kiruna trip worthwhile. it was soooo romantic, a pity bf isnt here. there were more than a hundred stars in the sky, it filled up EVERYTHING. there was hardly any space in the sky seriously. it was a MEGA starry night. the sky is soooo clear like ULTRAMEGA clear kind.
then we started to wonder, where the moon was. and when we went to the frozen river, we saw it. it was cast so low in the sky, it was just at my eye level. and it was ultra big. ULTRA. okay idk how i can describe this in words and seriously it was too cold to do any photography but it was just the most magnificent side of nature that i've ever seen in my entire life.
okay enough of ranting i got to research for prague.
won't you keep my secret for me? 3.3.11
