i wanted to sleep in a bit later today. HAHA recently i wake up just in time for lunch. i dont know when ive started being so lazy but what t do? uni is starting i definitely have to enjoy rest time more. (: ARGHHH how come i dont know anybody from my tutorial group? ): i hope there's someone i knowwwww.
so anyway, i woke up at 9+ am today (!!!) cause michelle woke me up to tell me theresa's coming over! i got out of bed & washed up. just in time to open th door for her. HAHA. all th best love, for your driving test! drive me around soon, and let me practise in your car too! HAHAHAHA. once you get one lol.
YTD I PRAWNED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE. :DDDDDDD so eggciting okay. i went with some of the haunters & our seniors! (: it was a 'hall 17 orientation camp'. (btw, there's no hall 17. this outing is for those who doesnt have hall camp on monday). sian, sometimes i wish i applied for a hall for at least 1 sem. have a feel of hall life. it'd be fun one lor i think. BUT some of seniors say it's rly vv tiring cause there isnt like, a curfew and they barely have enough sleep if ppl just keep coming. HAHA. oh well~~ but thinking of waking up so MEGA early and queuing up at th killer 179 queue makes me feel dumb not applying for a hall.
so initially i was paired with anyi for prawning! for the first one and a half hrs, WE GOT NO PRAWNS. while mingjin and LQ alr caught 4?! and weiling sherlene & reagan were catching quite a few already. AHHHH. anyi & i were so flustered. BUTTHEN, we started to catch rather a lot after that. (: SOOO NICE TO KNOW YOUVE CAUGHT SOMETHING YKNOW. ohh but the pulling out of pincers & stabbing the prawn alive with the satay stick made me feel SUPER guilty. i was guilt-stricken, really. i felt so bad for killing the prawns like tht, ESP WHEN I DONT EAT THEM. by 2200 we returned our sticks. and went to BBQ the prawns.
they made everyone do the piercing of the prawn onto the satay stick. it was HORRIBLE. i didnt dare to hold the prawn cause it was very much alive leh! they made me hold it. i held it, for 3 secs and dumped it back into the net. i was like, HOLDING A COCKROACH! it felt like one lah. but i came around to do it anyway, although i was doing it in a lot of shrieks and screams. i REALLY felt julakaberturh. hahahhaha. just felt sick. the prawn was still struggling when i pierced th stick in &&&&&&&&& IT FINALLY DIED aft struggling for 10secs. I'M REALLY SORRY! tts the fate of prawns @ prawn farms, unless you dont wna eat the bait. IN LIFE, WE HAVE TO LEARN NOT TO BE GREEDY OKAY PRAWNS? or maybe if you rly hungry, BE SMART and hook onto lousy prawners, like me. HAHAH i missed about 500 prawns okay HAHAHA. no lah, im not tht pro but i did miss quite a few!!
OH AND SHERLENE CAUGHT AN EXTREMELY BIG PRAWN. like LONG XIA kind. wahhh mega big i nearly vommitted on the prawn HAHHAA. i dont know why i cant upload th photo of mr big prawn. ): will ul when i have th chance next time! : DD
aft tht, th seniors went for supper while th rest of us went home. luke sent us to bishan mrt & we mrt-ed home. my mommy got upset she said, "amanda. you're getting later & later." hahah felt so guilty for making her worry BUTTTT, i reached home at 12mn SHARP!
