haha happy 2009 everybody! (: the eve wasnt too well spent i guess. cause i had a heated up quarrel with my sister before i left the house for shopping&countdown. and my mom sudd had 2 free tics to the vivo countdown. then all my plans started to go haywire.
so i left in a huff to meet rachelkwan. bussed down to suntec convention centre and made her wait an hr for me. LOL im so sorry! but the wait was worthwhile right? (: haha cause i brought her her xmas present. lol. i made it! (:
we decided t nt go marina square already and just bussed down to bugis. bought 2 dresses over there! (: i wna go there again although it's crowded and chokingly-smelly. ): eww yucks. the stench is getting into my head. rachel bought a dress and a top too(: so it was a fruitful trip. went to LJS to eat something cause we were famished and we decided to meet up aft our countdowns with our friends.
i think im becoming very vulgar recently. I CANNOT BE LIKE THAT!! plz slap me when i say any vulgarity okay??
went off to meet my working friends and other people i dont know. i cant believe im counting down with people i dont know but it's okay. fireworks is a must. (: i love em, YOU KNOW(: so i waited for sc and she came along with her boyfriend. HAH hes from china but totally dont look like he's from there. yeah then we went to precious thots to find tow peng. chatted a bit with the full-timers then we set off to kfc. rest a bit and we went to TP's place.
hahaha TP SO NICE OF YOU TO INVITE US OVER(: when we reached there, her parents not at home. only a house full of guys. seriously. if sc and i nv come, tp will be the only girl at home. her brother brought home his friends, and the friends of his friends and so on.. and also neighbours. and their friends. wow. sc's bf went into the house and found his classmate in the living room. this is how linked the whole jurong was. but they were very noisy and rowdy we decided to go into her room to wait for her. left for the countdown to look for jiahui and sc's other friends. it was crowded full of banglas. they party like no tomorrow and play with the bubble bath thing. the whole thing look like some clubbing area -.- went to the lan/pool shop to find sc's friends. wah! super a lot. i think abt 6 guys? her friends are everywhere. walking halfway we still find some more of her friends along the road. wow. i didnt see a soul i knew.
found jiahui cheering for her mi lu bing. wah she super on, got some board with lighting one. but apparently, she knows them personally thats why. michelles super jealous. hahahaa. then the countdown started. 2009 came and i had butterflies in my stomach ): 2009's scary. we were too near the fireworks i think some bits of ashes or sth flew into my idiotic eyes and caused some tornado in my cornea i felt like my retina was burning up. HAHA OKAY IM RUBBISHING BUT VERY PAIN.
called rachelkwan but she was still at joo chiat hotelrooming. ohh-ohh-ohhhhh ;) too bad she was the oddoneout cause her lover wasnt there so she wna come find me too! just like i wanna go find her (: we're lovebirds that cannot be separated. we love deeps. then we went back to the lan shop cause they wna play pool. it was scary staying inside. seriously. rowdy, loud, anth to describe rough. not really my kind of place. but sc took very good care of me. she didnt leave me alone, thanks a lot(: tp went home to get sth . but when shes back, we wna leave already cause no table.
they acc me to my busstop to wait for 240 but like no bus was quite scared no mrt then cannot meet rachelkwan. ): but heng 240 came aft ages and there were still trains. (: went to cityhall and stupidly wait at the platform like idiot when i went up they nearly lock the station was so scared i cant tap out i wanted to scream hahaha. it was already 2 and i was so scared that rachelkwan cant make it. she cabbed down to meet me and we walked to novena. we were deciding if we should go to clarke quay or novena at some junction. decided to just walk straight to novena. halfway walking, sy asked if we wanted to join 'em at clarke quay but we were already away awway from the place already. i think we walked 4 mrt stations/10 bus stops down . we decided to give up and just cab back to chelkwan's place. wah sth horrifying happened.
no cab so we squat down and wait. finally got some cab , boarded it and realised :O:O my phone wasnt with me. the meter was running like some *@)@*#&@)&#@!@ but my phone wasnt with me. asked the nice uncle to U-turn and went bk to where we were to see if i left my phone on the pavement. uncle said, "no phone leh." i alighted and looked for it. took me 2 seconds i found my phone, ON THE ROAD. ): i feltlike the worst owner in the worldddddddddddd . i think it slipped out of my hand/pocket and fell onto the road. the phone was JUST BESIDE the taxi's backwheel and i hugged my phone like it was a human. i'm inhumane seriously. i love my phone despite it's shutdown moments and i really didnt expect myself to drop it on the road while boarding the cab. slight scratches here and there cause of the rocks i think but otherwise, it's fine. THANK YOU GOD !
went to chelkwans place and the door was latched. just like my incident when i went overnight to study. thank God there was kenneth then. she press the doorbell but nobody woke up. she called uncle richard and he came to unlatch the door for us. so nice. my father sure scream at me one. ate sth and tried to open our breezer. EH i just realised the bottle-opener 7-11 provide is use the 'I' to open and not the 'O'. hahaha no wonder that time ys tried to open his hand bleed. lol
AH WHAT A LONG POST. yeah just went to eat and change and sleep . woke up late the next morning and ate brunch w auntie jen and rachel. uncle richard sent me home and here i am(: my sis&mom not angry already so happy. and my phone's fine!
